Led by founder Caleb Bright, the Bright Landscapes team is energized by hands-on work with natural products in the outdoors. Grounded in a supportive work environment and culture of excellence, the team is based in Cullman, Al, and serves the neighboring cities of North Alabama with a unique blend of small-town charm and high-level service.
OWNER AND FOUNDER
Caleb Bright
Growing up in Cullman, AL, gave Caleb an appreciation for the value of community and small-town living. This inspired him to start his own business in his hometown after graduating from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Horticulture and then working for 10 years in the landscape industry. He’s led the team at Bright Landscapes since its founding in 2014, and he is grateful to get to enjoy the fulfillment of a business he loves and a rich family life with his wife Anna and their three children. If he’s not working outside for Bright, then he’s playing outside on the lake, with his dogs, or hunting, hiking, and traveling.
GENERAL MANAGER
Adam Mayo
A Cullman native, Adam returned home to join the Bright Landscapes team after graduating from Auburn University with degrees in Landscape Horticulture and Wildlife Sciences and working in a leading corporate landscape company for more than 10 years. Adam was drawn back to Cullman for the small-town lifestyle it offers, and the opportunity to serve as the General Manager at Bright where he leads his team with excellence and cares for them like family. A lover of nature, Adam works and plays outdoors either improving landscapes or hunting and training dogs.
INSTALLATION OPERATIONS MANAGER
John Bland
Originally from Florence, John has always had a deep appreciation for landscaping and enjoys the satisfaction of hands-on work. He attended Auburn University where he graduated with degrees in Landscape Horticulture and Agronomy/Soils – Turfgrass Management. John spent several years working for leading corporate landscape companies in the Birmingham and Atlanta markets before joining Bright Landscapes. He enjoys building relationships with customers and employees while delivering high-level service grounded in a supportive work environment and culture of excellence. John enjoys his free time with his wife, Kelly, their dog, Chief, and spending the weekends on Smith Lake with family and friends.
